Trimble Mobile Computing Solutions is a division of Trimble Navigation, providing handheld computers and data collection devices to industries served by Trimble, including construction, agriculture, natural resources, government, law enforcement and others.

Located in Corvallis, OR, the company was originally founded as Tripod Data Systems in 1987 to develop products for the Survey industry. Acquired by Trimble Navigation in 2000, we were re-named Trimble MCS in 2009. Our manufacturing process was ISO 9001 certified in 2008.

Trimble MCS is an innovation leader. Our products include the first rugged computer with Windows CE (the Ranger, in 2000), and the smallest rugged handheld (the Recon, in 2003). We continue to provide industry-leading technology applications with the new smartphone inspired Juno T41 (released in August, 2012).
